Though the adverse effects of lighting are known to many, a new research has highlighted one more but a very unusual adverse effect of smoking.
According to the new research, smoking is one of the causes that can slow men from being physically active in the bedroom. Also, it has been concluded that putting a stop on smoking highly improved the sexual health of men than the ones who failed to quit smoking.
The study’s author is Mr. Christopher Harte from the VA Boston Healthcare System. He said that the findings of the study primarily aim to influence a bigger number of male smokers' to start the quitting process at the earliest possible.
"With younger men, the risks of smoking in that population appear more far off. They think, I don't really need to worry about this until much farther down the road", he said.
Harte being the author of the study and Ms. Cindy Meston from the University of Texas at Austin being the co-author of the same said that they concluded the above findings, post analyzing 65 men who were enrolled in the study without self-reported impotence.
The study involved an eight-week quit smoking program, which used nicotine patches to serve the purpose.
