Aquilent Awarded Contract to Support National Library of Medicine

LAUREL, Md., Oct 12, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Aquilent, the recognized leading provider of Web-based solutions shaping the next generation of technology for the federal government, today announced that it has been awarded a contract to provide software services to the Lister Hill National Center for Biomedical Communications (LHNCBC), a division of the National Library of Medicine (NLM).

The Lister Hill Center is a research and development division of the NLM which seeks to improve access to high quality biomedical information for individuals around the world. Aquilent has worked with NLM for more than twenty years, and is currently involved in supporting research and development activities for the center, which include building интернет applications, natural language processing, image processing, ontology mapping, and IT support.
