Meriden Man Charged With Drug Possession - Southington, CT Patch

A Meriden man is facing drug and motor vehicle charges after police said officers discovered a variety of pills in his possession following a two-car accident along West Street in August.

Derek B. Vail, of 36 Duffy Само же in Meriden, turned himself into police Friday on a warrant and was booked on charges of reckless driving, failure to maintain proper lane, possession of narcotics and illegal сторидж of narcotics.

He was released on a bond and is due in Bristol Superior Court for arraignment on Oct. 11.

Police said the accident led Vail, 32, to be taken to the hospital, but officers discovered various pills of Lorazepam, Carisoprodol, Cyclobenzaprine Hydrochloride, Tramadol Hydrochloride and Captopril kept in a bottle in his car.

The Southington Police Department also reported the following arrests:

Terrence Odwyer, 34, of 1563 Chapel St. in New Haven, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, Sept. 27.

Roger D. St. James, 61, of 14 Alyssa Drive in Cheshire, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, Sept. 27.

David W. Clavette, 23, of 11 Lake Shore Drive in Holland, Mass., was charged with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace, Oct. 2.
