Working on behalf of a blue chip pharmaceutical company. Due to a national expansion an opportunity has arisen to work in the field of Smoking Cessation, you will join the long standing team at an exciting and crucial phase. This is an exciting and rewarding market, selling a product that can make a significant difference to peoples’ lives and those of their families.
Role:
Working with PCOs and emerging GP Consortia, NHS Stop Smoking Services and other key local influencers the Local Account Manager will take overall responsibility and be accountable for the development and subsequent implementation of the plan for their territory, ultimately delivering sales growth in a competitive market. You will be totally accountable for growing the market share of the product and will do so by identifying opportunities and influencing key customers, predominantly in primary care: smoking cessation advisers, GPs & Nurses with an interest in smoking cessation and payors (Medicines Management/Commissioners/Consortia Leads). Territory: Hampshire.
Requirements:
Demonstrable evidence of the ability to understand NHS policy and translate into opportunities, with an outstanding success record in a Primary Care, Secondary Care, HDM or Key Account Manager role. Strong relationship management skills evidenced by ability to influence and demonstrate long term relationships (internal and external). Ability to identify projects and then manage them successfully to completion. Extrinsically motivated and a self-starter. Smoking cessation experience highly desirable.
